Climedo Health secures seven-digit financing round

The Munich-based startup Climedo Health has raised a seven-digit investment and plans further development of its software and international expansion.

The EIT Health Headstart winners 2017, Climedo Health, announced today the closing of a seven-digit financing round. Together with Europe’s leading clinics, they have developed an innovative cloud-based platform that will enable medical device manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, clinics, and contract research organizations to conduct clinical trials faster and more efficiently, by collecting, exchanging and analysing all study-relevant data points in a structured, efficient, and reusable way.

Investors include renowned business angels from the healthcare sector and successful entrepreneurs, including Prof. Dr. med. Christian Wallwiener, Managing Director of the consulting firm WMC Healthcare, and WestTech Ventures, a Berlin-based VC firm focused on pre-seed & seed investments.

The new capital will enable Climedo to expand its team, drive software development forward and expand internationally.
