EU Prize for Woman Innovators shines a spotlight on female entrepreneurs and encourages others to follow.
To make European lives better and move forward towards a healthier, more prosperous and more sustainable future, we need to connect and foster all innovative and creative minds from all of Europe. That’s why the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency are celebrating all the great Women entrepreneurs that contribute to that objective by providing life-changing innovations. The EU Prize for Women Innovators puts their achievements into focus and creates role models for young talented women and girls while also raising awareness of uneven conditions that still exist.
An independent expert jury will choose the most talented women entrepreneurs. The applicants are founders of successful companies from across the EU and countries associated to Horizon Europe that enriched the market with innovative and highly asked solutions. Three prizes of €100,000 each are awarded in the main category. A fourth prize of €50,000 is awarded to a promising ‘Rising Innovator’ aged 30 or younger.
