2020 IMIM Industry & Innovation Day

Are you a life science or medical master, PhD student or postdoc? Are you wondering how to bring your research idea to the market or asking yourself if a career in industry is the right choice for you? Then register for the 2020 IMIM Industry & Innovation Day from February 27 to 29 in Heidelberg! 

Join the 2020 IMIM Industry & Innovation Day, organized by the International Master in Innovative Medicine (IMIM) at the Medical Faculty Mannheim  to connect with Startups, SMEs and pharma company representatives and to learn more about various career options, to network and explore new ideas in your fields.

During the weekend you will have the opportunity to join workshops tailored to improve your presenting and networking skills. You will get insight into life science industry and meet contributors from small, medium-sized and large companies as well as Startups. Different panel discussions will give you more information on what it takes to follow different career paths within or beyond academia. Industry representatives will have a chance to discuss potential cooperation with IMIM and EIT Health, network with the students during the coffee breaks and Meet & Eat Sessions and potentially recruit a talented student for an internship in their company.

Target participants: medical students as well as master/PhD students or postdocs from the Health, Biotechnology or Life Science Sector; professionals from biotech/biopharma companies or biomedical Start-ups.

The EIT Health Alumni Network is offering scholarships for travel reimbursement. Interested applicants should send an email explaining their personal motivation and professional background to by 17 February 2020. Chosen participants will have their travel costs up to 200€ reimbursed by the Network. Please note that applicants will need to cover accommodation themselves.
