Fraunhofer invites you to the symposium “Trustworthy AI in Healthcare”, which will take place on October 5, 2022 in Karlsruhe at the Center for Art and Media (ZKM).

The symposium will present examples of how different dimensions of the concept of trustworthy AI (e.g., robustness and safety, transparency, primacy of human action, non-discrimination) can be implemented in concrete ways.

Presenters include:

§ Dr. Julia Hoxha – CEO & Founder Zana GmbH and AI Federal Association.
§ Dr. Anne Schwerk – BCRT, Berlin Institute of Health @Charité
§ Dr. Stefan Rüping – Fraunhofer IAIS
§ Maximilian Braun – TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology
§ Philipp Kellmeyer – Neuroethics and AI Ethics Lab, University of Freiburg, Germany
§ Patrick Philipp – Fraunhofer IOSB
§ Prof. Dr. Oliver Haase – HTWG Konstanz and Johner Institute

The aim of the event is to provide an overview of current implementation strategies and, against the background of the specific requirements in the healthcare sector, to discuss what manufacturers, start-ups and healthcare institutions can do to develop and implement trustworthy AI systems for the benefit of all.

The event will take place in attendance. Attendance is free, but requires advance registration as space is limited. Information about the symposium and the registration link can be found here.
