Kick-off event Horizon Europe

Then the kick-off event “New Horizon for Europe – Opportunities for Research and Innovation within the EU framework programme 2021-2027” on 9 December 2020 from 10:00 – 14:30 (CET) is just right for you.

Horizon Europe” – the new EU framework programme for research and innovation – starts on the 1st of January 2021 and will be one of the largest funding programmes for research and innovation worldwide. As the successor to the current “Horizon 2020” program, Horizon Europe also includes a wide range of support options for companies, universities, and research institutions in Baden-Württemberg. Start-ups, scale-ups, and all other highly innovative companies will also regard the new fundings in the European Innovation Council particularly exciting.

The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Employment and Housing of Baden-Württemberg would like to provide you with comprehensive information about R&D funding opportunities from “Horizon Europe” and offer you the opportunity for professional exchange.

The event will be opened by Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut (Minister of Economic Affairs, Baden-Württemberg) and Theresia Bauer (Minister of Science, Research and Art, Baden-Württemberg). You can look forward to high-ranking representatives of the European Commission such as Jean-David Malo (Director of the European Innovation Council) and Dr. Waldemar Kütt (Director of the European Research Council). The focus is on the three pillars of Horizon Europe: “Scientific Excellence”, “Global Challenges and Industrial Competitiveness in Europe” and “Innovative Europe”.
