You need support in getting your project off the ground? Having doubts on your business strategy? Looking for some marketing tips? Then apply for MCN voucher and reach your next milestone in a flash. 

Mentoring & Coaching Network (MCN) is an EIT Health initiative to help health and healthcare-oriented startups find the expertise they need by connecting them with the right mentors in industry, research and academia.

The Network gathers subject matter experts and top-of-the-line mentors from all over Europe to help with the specific needs of startups in Medtech, Biotech and Digital Health. The mentors have a proven track record in managing and developing companies, are well versed in innovation and entrepreneurship and will help you tackle specific challenges such as creating your MVP, validating your product-market-fit, finding partners for research / studies, develop your plan to scale, or prepare for your next investment round. 

EIT Health Germany is now opening a call for awarding 10 Mentorship and Coaching Vouchers, 5 of which will be awarded to startups who have already participated in one of our programs and 5 vouchers for those who have not participated. Each voucher is total to 2000 and will be received upon completion of the mentoring sessions.

Eligibility criteria: 

  1. Startups already supported by the EIT Health 
  • Identify a specific need for mentoring 
  • Have participated in at least one of the EIT Health Accelerator programs in the years 2016-2019
  • Have to be incorporated in Germany, Austria or Switzerland 
  • Fill in the survey (available here: )

      2. Startups who have not been supported by the EIT Health 

  • Identify a specific need for mentoring 
  • Have to be incorporated in Germany, Austria or Switzerland 

Startups who have already received the MCN voucher in the past are not eligible for applying. 


Program structure 

The program consists of one free “chemistry” session to identify the required mentor, followed by three mentoring sessions spread over the first three months. 

Selection procedure

Applications will be evaluated online by a min. of 2 external evaluators based on the following criteria:

  • Innovativeess and feasibility of the product 
  • The market and business potential of the idea
  • Expertise and credibility of the team
  • Impact and utilization of the voucher 
  • Overall impression
