The Call invites those who understand the needs in health care and those who can help to provide a solution, to work together and with us to deliver value to patients, citizens and healthcare systems.
During the process of developing our new Strategic Agenda for 2021-2027, EIT Health has refined and improved some of its methods, approaches and policies, and these changes are reflected in the new Call.
Among the key requirements for BP 2022 is a societal impact. Activities are expected to contribute to the achievement of widespread, demonstrable socio-economic improvements to society. Also, most projects financed under this Call will need to support the financial sustainability of the EIT Health ecosystem.
The submission of each proposal is done in the Plaza submission system and follows a two-step-approach:
The projects starting under this call are intended to be financed under the new Horizon Europe budget for the EIT. As the legislative process is not completed yet, this call may be subject to amendment. Also, the available budget is not fully clarified, which is why the exact number of activities that will be funded is not indicated. This will become clearer over the following months.
