What is so brilliant about your business idea?

We offer homecare companies a digital care management platform so that all parties involved in care are networked in the best possible way. After the anamnesis has been digitally documented, our intelligent suggestion system only displays products that are relevant for the respective patient.

Why do you think you deserve the Grant?

With our software, it is possible to efficiently design the entire outpatient care and thus provide added value for the health system, in particular for the care of the chronically ill.

What are your expectations on a possible collaboration with EIT Health?

We hope to build new partnerships through EIT Health’s network and connect with other potential customers to increase our reach.

Just in case you win the Headstart Grant…What are your plans with the 50k?

It is important to us to further develop the software so that it meets the needs of our customers. That’s why we want to expand our portfolio and offer additional functions and modules. We also want to enlarge the number of our team members in the near future.

What message do you have for the EIT Health community?

We are looking forward to a day full of interesting conversations and the exchange of experiences with the members of other start-ups from the healthcare sector.

What is so brilliant about your business idea?

Thanks to major progress in the sequencing of human cancers, we have identified cancer’s molecular vulnerabilities and are now developing novel drugs that target those new-found weaknesses. We will beat cancer at its own game!

Why do you think you deserve the Grant?

Eisbach Bio is an innovative and promising startup joining the fight against cancer. We are committed to create new therapies, transforming the lives of many women and men for whom there are currently no cures.

What are your expectations on a possible collaboration with EIT Health?

By collaborating with EIT Health, we will be able to directly learn from mentors and advisors who can offer a broader perspective, provide constructive criticism and an unbiased view on our project. This will help us to realize our company’s vision!

Just in case you win the Headstart Grant – what are your plans with the 50k?

The Headstart Grant will be used to perform a chemical expansion and optimization on our small molecule compounds which will increase the success rate to generate a promising lead molecule for our drug.

What message do you have for the EIT Health community?

Let us push medical research forward together and develop the right treatments for the right patients!

Jonathan Iorio, Business Program Manager, Eisbach Bio

The team of GHOST – feel it.

What is so brilliant about your business idea?

We can make amputees feel their prosthesis using our haptic shirt and AI based algorithm. This not only increases the usability of the prosthesis, empowers the patient and reduces secondary effects, but it can also reduce phantom pain. This non invasive product can also be easily adapted to different applications fields and therefore be used to feel remote controlled robotics of give humans a sixth sense for radiation.

Why do you think you deserve the Grant?

GHOST – feel it consists of a hard working team with a social impact vision to empower amputees, help surgeons regain feeling from their surgical robot or enable super-human senses like radiation exposure to be felt. The Headstart Grant would help us to enter the market and include our technology in more than one prosthesis out there! With your help, we can make amputees feel their prosthesis!

What are your expectations on a possible collaboration with EIT Health?

It is great to make use of the ecosystem of EIT Health. We also applied for a EIT Health Innovation project in the field of stroke rehabilitation. The project was sadly not approved this year, however, we are working on a new iteration of the technology in order to approve it in the next round.

Just in case you win the Headstart Grant – what are your plans with the 50k?

We will mainly use it for Business Development and market entry of our product. We already have a pilot customer to test the integration of our product. In order to further increase our customer base and prepare the path into other industries, we also have to educate the broad public in haptic feedback and its full potential. Therefore, we would use the 50k from EIT Health to pay for our team expansion in the field, as well as travel expenses and sales and marketing material.

What message do you have for the EIT Health community?

We have been welcome in the EIT Health community with open arms and absolutely love the energy in the community! It is overwhelming to see the effort that is put into organizing the events, grants and accelerator projects within the EIT Health ecosystem and we are very happy to be part of it! Keep up the good work!

According to the World Economic Forum, we are facing a US$ 6 T issue with mental health – we contribute significantly to the solution of this problem by providing an integrated approach – and not only a simple app.

What are your expectations on a possible collaboration with EIT Health?

As we have created a mental health platform, we are interested in cooperations with partners to create joint solutions.
