Save the date: EIT Health Germany Hearing Training

Partners from Germany and Switzerland can benefit from the expertise of the team of EIT Health Germany and pitch presentation coach Beth Susanne.

With the submission deadline for proposals for Innovation, Campus and Accelerator projects on 27th March 2019, EIT Health has reached the step of selecting activities for the EIT Health Business Plan 2020 to create positive impact for healthcare in Europe. The selection process consists of an external remote evaluation and a hearing. Hearings will be face-to-face and take place in Munich from the 27th – 31st May 2019, to allow the experts to meet with the teams in-person.

Beth Susanne has trained over 2500 international tech startups to pitch successfully to investors, clients and potential partners.

When will partners be informed about the hearing’s invitation?

The partners with selected proposals will be invited to the hearings on 30 April 2019 once external evaluation is made and decision is made about number of projects invited to the hearings.

How can partners prepare for the hearings?

We highly recommend to check the hearing guidelines in the call document from page 46 onwards which already help to structure the pitch presentation:

Join our EIT Health Germany Hearing Training on 16th and 17th May 2019 (09:00-17:30hrs) at Mercure Hotel Frankfurt Airport, Frankfurt am Main-Kelsterbach

The goal of our hearing training is to put the finishing touches to your pitch presentations and to prepare good answers for questions from the panel. Therefore, participants should bring a slide deck which is ready for a first dry run presentation. During our hearing training, we will work on the content and the style of the presentation (20min pitch at the hearings) and Q&A (45min at the hearings). In addition to the expertise of the CLC team, you will benefit from the experienced pitch coach Beth Susanne.

Thematic focus of the hearing training:

  • 16 May: Accelerator and Campus projects
  • 17 May: Innovation projects

Innovation Projects will receive an online briefing on 13 May at 3:00-4:00PM about the evaluation criteria and the building blocks of a successful pitch presentation.
