Accelerator Catalogue 2019 – EIT Health Germany invites to participate!

The EIT Health Accelerator gathers the best and brightest health entrepreneurs in Europe and provides them with the support, skills and services they need to get their ideas into the market.

The Accelerator is now open to all business ideas from entrepreneurs being part of the EIT Health community. It fosters entrepreneurs connected to EIT Health partners, learners emerging from EIT Health Campus projects and innovators that participated in one of the numerous EIT Health Innovation Projects all over Europe.

To accompany start-ups at any stage in their growth the EIT Health Accelerator offers three activity lines: In the INCUBATE! activity line entrepreneurs get training and support to create a business plan out of an initial business idea. These programmes vary in length from two to twelve months, and offer entrepreneurs an international perspective and the opportunity to build their network with leading health organisations.

The VALIDATE! activity line supports start-ups and entrepreneurs in continuously improving their business models with access to living labs and test beds, mentoring and coaching expertise within the community, and to gain an understanding of regional regulatory and reimbursement schemes.

The SCALE! activity line focuses on developing tools and networks that can provide financing for projects and smaller SMEs, as well as facilitating access to potential investors including angel networks, corporate financers and crowd funders. Furthermore, internationalisation programmes support European start-ups and scale-ups in the domain of Medtech, Biotech and Digital Health so that they can expand within Europe, the United States, Korea, China, Japan, and Canada.

If you are interested in paticipating in this year’s programs but have no previous connection to any EIT Health partners or CLC representatives, please check the list of EIT Health partners or introduce yourself to the Business Creation Manager, Matteo Consonni, Matteo.consonni@eithealth.eu.
